What we make
We provide one fixed Classic edition. The score is a simple total: 100 minus the number of items selected. It is a conversation prompt and a personal record only—not a measure of morality, health, maturity, consent, safety, identity, or worth.

Two people can arrive at the same score through entirely different experiences. Take it at your own pace, skip the social comparison if it is not useful, and do not treat a number as a verdict about yourself or someone else.
How the Classic edition is maintained
This site uses one fixed Classic edition with 100 numbered items. We keep the checklist stable so that a score means the same thing each time you return to it. When we clarify supporting copy, scoring explanations, or historical context, we aim to make those changes transparent without quietly changing the questions people came here to take.
What this test is—and is not
The Rice Purity Test can be a private reflection, a conversation prompt, or a way to compare a familiar cultural checklist with your own experiences. It cannot tell you whether choices were good or bad, healthy or unhealthy, safe or unsafe. It does not replace a conversation with a trusted person or professional support when you need either of those things.
How privacy works here
You can take the test without an account. Your selections and score are stored locally in your browser so you can resume a session on the same device. They are not placed in a shareable URL, sent to a profile, or published automatically. You decide whether to tell anyone your result; this site does not make that choice for you.
